Health Care Programs. Is Your Coverage Enough?
Health Care Programs are essential to medically treat the caregiven and the caregiver. Age is a major determinant in how the programs are provided. In the United States of America, health care insurance is basically handled by four types of agencies. Medicare, Medicaid, and current Non-profit Hospice are federal and state supported agencies typically dealing with senior citizens aged 65 and over. Yes, there are those of the younger generation that are covered, but they are not old enough for this discussion. Government and military retirees who selected a care program from their respective agencies are administered through government oversight, but are under a different program. Individual policies for Medigap (supplemental), Long-term Care policies, and policies for those of us not yet 65 are the more traditional private insurance policies. Payment schedules and costs vary according to coverage. What are some of the applicable programs? Changes are coming. Stay informed by contacting someone who is current with what is, was and proposed.
