Caregiving
As author of the eldercaregiverinfo.com and VickiWrites.info, I appreciate new Caregiver offerings for Information and Life Products - whether the patient is a child, adult or senior adult. Eldercaregiverinfo.com was created to provide helpful information and resources based on personal experience as well as other friends and family caregivers. Caregiving is not "baby-sitting", it's a whole lot more and the better prepared you are the better your experience as a Caregiver.
Finances & Legals
The financial and legal issues are just as important as the "Care Team" of doctors, caregivers and family members, as well as the living environment for the patient and the caregiver. For instance, establishing a guardianship for an adult can be done at any age depending on the physical and mental capacity and the needs determined by the "Care Team." Guardianship for a child - particularly a "special needs child" - must be legally established prior to their 18th birthday (in the USA) when they become a legal-aged adult. Don's make assumptions. Be sure of the legalities and the financials are in place. Know who writes the checks and is in control and who is financially responsible.
Products
I am particularly impressed with a website that I have just become acquainted. It is a comprehensive site established by Caregivers faced with the lack of information, products or services for the comfort and care of someone special to them. The name of the site is: Parentgiving.com Their store offering includes items for Alzheimer Patients; Bath & Safety; Bedding; Daily Living Aids; Diabetic Supplies; Incontinence; Medical Supplies; Mobility Devices; Skin Care; Services; and Gift Ideas. All of these areas contain the items that are needed at some time in the progression of care depending on the needs of the patient and the availability of the items at hand. They have carefully developed their offerings to include discounts with the capability of serving the individual and the institution level buyer.

Daily Living Aids
Their Daily Living Aids Section includes many items overlooked - so a really valuable resource: Arthritis Aids; Clothing & Dressing Aids; Electronic Alerts; Hot and Cold Pads ( I can see I'll be visiting this section); Orthopedic Supplies; Chair Cushions; Massage Therapy (another favorite of mine); Uplift Chairs and more and more.
Daily Living Aids
Resources
This is one of those websites you don't know where to quit talking about. Beyond the Store, they have included assistance with a Library of Informative Articles and Experts with answers. Lots of Information on subjects you may be looking for answers and where to go for assistance.
Care Resources
Services
One of the challenges facing families and Care Teams is Housing and In Home Care. Parentgiving.com has developed resources in a number of states and contacts to assist in finding permanent or temporary care ...the right answers for the patient's and caregiver's needs.
Parentgiving Senior Housing and Home Care
Under this site name they call themselves "The ultimate senior care resource." I think that statement describes them well. Additional articles and information go to:
