Reading and Knowledge are Keys. Keep Reading the Words

Reading or listening to books on tape is a key to staying in the game of life. With good lighting and sometimes a magnifying glass enjoyable habits can still be fun, knowledge gained, and information gathered. Or if interested in sharing knowledge, start writing what needs to be shared with the world. It might learn a thing or two.

Visits to the library can be a good outing and an inexpensive way to enjoy the written word or borrow audio versions for a change. They have all the new and current materials, reference works, and periodicals.

Bible study groups are available with church groups and usually have classes for women or men or even combined. New understandings can be shared or gained in one text of history, encouragement, and life principles.

Book Clubs can be expensive, but they also offer discussion groups with stimulating conversation and fellowship. It's always interesting how many different interpretations of plot, characters and meaning in the story can be found in those discussions.

E-books are available for download from the internet on just about any subject and how to do things. Print your text out on your printer at home. Now that's delivery.

E-zines and Blogs are on the internet and can even be sent to your e-mail address. Some of these publications offer the chance to respond and add personal experiences and opinions. Free e-mail addresses are available from some of the search engines, so get one and enjoy it.

Magazines are special interest or news publications. The library usually has a good selection, or local stores, and through the mail with a subscription.

Don't forget friends who read have collections that can be shared and have your own discussion group.

Keep current with events with television and radio news, and the ever faithful newspaper. Keep the mind busy and thinking. Stay in life's game.
